November 20, 2015: Cub Scouts Hold Book Drive

32 cub scouts Cub Scout Pack 21 in Brentwood held a book drive for READ. The scouts generously donated over 200 new and gently used books for the children we serve! See more, with 2 pictures (70 KB).

November 18, 2015: Wal*Mart Gives READ a Big Check

October 20, 2015: Pittsburg High Football Team

Football players reading to children The Pittsburg High football team came to our El Pueblo Children's Library and read stories to the children, bringing role models to children who desperately need them. Read more, with 9 pictures (278 KB).

August 21, 2015: DeAnza Gardens Children's Library Kick-Off

Two happy children We had 140 children and adults help us get the De Anza Gardens Children's Library off to a roaring start. Read more, with 12 pictures (408 KB).

May 28, 2015: Open House at Head Start - Campbell Preschool
